Adi Afek

Adi Afek is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of clinical experience providing midwifery and reproductive health care. Her background spans homebirth, hospital-based labor and delivery, prenatal care, abortion care, and gynecology across the lifecycle, including perimenopause and menopause. Adi completed her nursing and midwifery education at UCSF. She approaches her work with the conviction that every patient deserves compassionate, nonjudgmental care and agency over their own body and health decisions.Adi's practice is informed by an interest in trauma-informed care and in how intergenerational trauma and resilience shape health across the lifecycle. She tries to bring a steady, grounded presence to every visit, and finds meaning in the chance to bring her heart, hands, and mind to the work each day.
