Rachel Mosolf
Millie Guide
RN, IBCLC
After growing up on both coasts and making it through many long, freezing winters, Rachel and her little family are now based in the sunny East Bay. After a decade in this work, parenting two little ones has reaffirmed her belief that all families deserve to feel trusted, informed, and supported as they move through the huge transitions of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Rachel began her journey as a volunteer birth doula in 2015 while studying clinical nutrition in San Francisco, an experience that taught her so much and sparked her enduring commitment to compassionate, individualized care for all birthing people.
She earned her Registered Nurse credential in 2017 and worked as a hospital-based postpartum RN, gently supporting families during those tender days and nights immediately after birth. Feeling called back to community-based, holistic care, she returned to birth and postpartum doula work and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2021, blending clinical knowledge with intuitive care and a deep reverence for the inherent wisdom parents and their babies possess.
She continues to balance Motherhood and work in her various roles, ever-learning and striving to meet families where they are. Her areas of focus include providing support and education throughout the entire perinatal season—from pregnancy through postpartum and infant feeding. She feels so blessed to have had the privilege of supporting such a wonderfully diverse community over the years, and feels a deep commitment to serving them with respect and cultural humility.
Her philosophy is rooted in trust: trust in families, their bodies, and their instinctual knowing. She walks alongside families with warmth, skill, and steady support, honoring these transformative rites of passage with care that is free of judgment and grounded in authenticity.
